Justice
UPHOLDING
AT THE INDIVIDUAL LEVEL
Conversations
◈ Why is it important to see with our "own eyes"?
◈ What opportunities exist for us to be champions of justice in our homes, workplaces, public spaces, or among friends?
◈ How does continually re-examining our own attitudes, values, and relationships relate to justice?
◈ What qualities characterise an individual who sees all of humanity as members of one body?
Inspirations
In a world thirsty for Justice, in which systems around us seem increasingly outdated and problematic, those who are seeking to build a new and united pattern of life must be constantly looking for opportunities to champion justice in their own individual lives. Far from seeing justice as a quality which can only be practiced by powerful institutions or collective organisations, this collection explores how each of us can practice justice in our individual spheres of influence. Whether trying to be fair and equitable in our lifestyles, defending victims of oppression, having meaningful conversations, or promoting and facilitating education which allows people to see with their "own eyes", the state of the world means that there are plenty of opportunities in our own communities to practice this vital quality.
